Phoebe Lawton is one of the main characters of One of Us is Next and is one of the narrators.
Appearance[]
Phoebe was described as being short and curvy, suggesting she is slightly large, but not exactly fat. She had curly brown hair and often wears makeup.
Family Life[]
Phoebe lived with her parents, her older sister Emma, and her little brother Owen until her dad died when she was just 12. Her mom could no long afford to keep the family home and they moved into a small apartment. Phoebe shared a room with her sister and they also shared a car. She did not interact with her siblings much as they didn’t get along very well.
Biography[]
Phoebe is a friend of Addy, Nate, Maeve, Knox, Bronwyn, Cooper, and Kris. In the ending of the second book and the start of the third, it is revealed that she secretly has feelings for Knox, her friend. Unfortunately, Knox sensed this too and told Phoebe that he liked her (not romantically), he just didn't love her the way that she did. Phoebe also works at Cafe Contigo with Evie. But she and her friends have been so busy with Jake, she seldom shows up at work, leaving Evie exhausted (she had to stand in for Phoebe all the time and worked Phoebe's and her shifts, which meant she had to work double, even though Phoebe still got the money that Evie had earned. Evie basically just did unpaid overtime.)
