Knox Myers is one of the three protagonists and narratives of One Of Us Is Next. He is a junior at Bayview High who has been harmed by the Truth or Dare game. Knox, ten years younger than his four elder sisters, tries to define his relationship with his sole friend and former girlfriend Maeve as he grows up as a practically only child, disappointing his father by not being the son he hoped.
While his chapters center on the drama at his school, he also has a broader perspective on the world because to his work at a charity law firm that represents individuals who are frequently overlooked by the legal system. He is struggling to figure out where his true interests lie and what kind of life he can envisage in himself beyond school due to the expectations his family places on him, exposing important themes of toxic masculinity and the strain young men experience in society.
