Jake Riordan is one of the main characters in the Peacock original series, One Of Us Is Lying. He is portrayed as Barrett Carnahan.
He is the captain of the football team and the boyfriend of Addy, Jake seems to have it all, but it's never enough.

Throughout the Series[]
Season 1[]
Jake and Addy were in a relationship and have been together for a while. Jake is very controlling and manipulative in the relationship, and doesn’t like liars or cheaters as his dad ruined his mom's life. Jake had been away all summer in Greece, and ghosted Addy the whole time which led to her thinking he was ending it with her. So she started cheating on him with TJ Forrester. Although Simon told Jake that Addy was cheating on him at the house party, everyone found out when Simon posted it on About that. Jake then broke up with Addy, and was angry at the fact Addy lied to him but throughout the next few episodes, he revealed that he wanted to get back with her. Jake hosts a Halloween party in the last episode ‘One of Us is Dead’ where he goes as a magician and convinces Addy to go as a rabbit, even though she didn’t want to. The ‘Murder Club’ are there to find the Xbox where it has been discovered that he was talking to Simon through a chat room about for framing the ‘Murder Club’ for Simons own fake assassin attempt. This was all being secretly recorded by Simon. When Jake finds out what they are doing he gets a gun and confront Cooper and Nate. When he gets into the room Addy and Bronwyn have already got the Xbox and jumped out the window. Jake then chased Addy in his car while she riding her bike , he chases her off the road and they both start running into the wood until he finally catches up with her. He holds the gun towards her and other members of the ‘Murder Club’ demanding the Xbox until Janae hits him with a baseball bat and the gun is dropped. Jake is discovered to have been shot and dies in the woods.
Personality[]
Jake doesn’t like to be different and wants to be the typical football jock. He can be hotheaded and angry at times, especially in situations where he can’t control anybody.

Jake is a fairly tall man with an impressive physique despite his age.
He is usually seen in a light blue denim jacket along with a white shirt and black pants.
